After Captivity: Untold Stories of the Prisoners of War
Pictures of survivors of captivity, civilian hostages and military prisoners of war, held on occupied Ukrainian territories and in Russian prisons, 2014 - until now. More than 8000 Ukrainians are currently held captive, without any right of communication, without access to any other human rights organizations, tortured, malnourished and killed.
Periodically the Russian side returns bodies of Ukrainian prisoners of war, sometimes without organs (the same incident happened at least once in 2019).
The project started in 2019 and is ongoing. The purpose of the project is to document the stories, visible and invisible scars of the survivors and the fact of violation of human rights
