The work shows cows in their silent presence and links them to symbols of modern animal husbandry, revealing the gap between living beings and commodities. It tells of the alienation between humans and animals caused by consumer culture and industrial processes and invites us to see cows as sentient beings with biographies, pain and tenderness, to question existing structures and to find new ways of empathy and responsibility.
