Over the past fifty years, the world's population has grown rapidly, and this has increased the demand for housing, food and water. The high rate of consumption of natural resources causes serious degradation of the environment and has effects such as deforestation, soil erosion and drought. On the other hand, the indiscriminate consumption of fossil fuels and the effects of greenhouse gases have also exacerbated global warming. The steep slope of population growth in recent years in Iran has increased the urban population and new residential towns are being built every day around large cities. To meet the needs of the urban population, agricultural lands and industrial factories in the plains are replacing green pastures. Consumption of water resources for drinking water supply has also affected Iran's agriculture and industry with severe drought. Iran's geographical location has a dry climate with a vulnerable environment, and the continuation of this situation rapidly changes the landscape and views, which cause serious and irreparable damage to the environment.
