The Fairy Tale That Was Not Told

Setting: A blend of real and unreal spaces - it's the attic of a rented house, a tiny home studio of a photographer, a room in a fictional house where the characters live, and a fairytale space where dolls come to life.

Characters: Mother and daughter. The mother is the same woman but in different forms. The daughter flickers: sometimes a child, sometimes a girl, sometimes a doll.
The action takes place in a surreal world where there is no permanence, where everything transforms, and anything can be everything.

Each photograph in the project is an illustration to the fairy tale, yet this tale has not been written yet. Each viewer writes it in their own mind. Each photo poses riddles, provokes thoughts, raises questions, but does not provide answers. Each image contains numerous details, layers, plot twists. Involuntarily, the viewer starts unraveling plot options in their mind, inventing a story. What does the author want to convey? Here the author whispers a personal message to you secretly. Everyone has their own interpretation.

This project is a dialogue with the viewer, inviting to co-create. I am the author only of the visual part of the project; the narrative can be written by every viewer.
My goal is to stimulate creativity, to make viewers search for meanings, engage in a dialogue with me. To argue, agree, complement, and change my stories. To create fairy tales together with me.
