When Russia invaded Ukraine on 24th of February the biggest refugee crisis since World War II emerged by millions of people trying to escape the cruelty of war and fleeing into Western-european countries. Since the first day of the invasion I started to photograph a series which focusses on this huge amount of refugees arriving in Poland and Germany. With sensitive portraits, architectural documentation of temporary refugee shelters and situations I came upon I try to document the intense setting Europe has to master.
