The portrait series "Attitude" shows youth within the international scout movement from various countries. Scouting is an international, religiously and politically independent group for young people. Worldwide, more than 41 million children and adolescents from 216 countries belong to the youth movement. The scouts are committed to independent and responsible action, tolerance, environmental protection and peace. It can vary greatly from country to country and from troop to troop how the philosophy of the scouts is lived in detail. In "Attitude" I examine the inner posture and behaviour of young scouts from a total of 113 nations. I leave the protagonists plenty of room for self-staging. Their attitudes, facial expressions, outside appearance and uniforms make their individuality visible, but at the same time they are also evident for their cultural background and the affiliation to the scouting movement of a certain country.
