The war doesn’t only happen due to conflicts between countries, there
are times where the fight starts within us. We escape from something
and resist another to be able to live again. It is like being in competition
with ourselves in a constant battle to be our best.

Everyone in The world in this time of Covid has self-war.

The circumstances and challenges refugees face in another country
were very tough. They thought they were running from war, but they
faced another battle in other countries such loneliness, fear, isolation,
fragility, sadness. They lived through a civil war and the post-war
hardships, the transition to another country and change the life,
then they faced the pandemic.

The purpose of the project was my desire to look deeply into the lives
of those women‘s refugees from different countries. I wanted to bring
to life the story of women in a previously unknown physical and mental
state. From the inside, and their lack of hope for the future.
