Inversion
For the Inversion project, I entered into agreements with 9 military photojournalists who were documenting the current war in Ukraine. Next, a 2.80 by 3.76-meter custom aluminum frame was created, and 12 of the final selection's photos were alternatively displayed in 7 different European cities. In each area I photographed real Ukrainian refugees.
One of the deadliest military crises in present-day Europe is the Russian military aggression against Ukraine. 10 million Ukrainian migrants were forced to escape to the EU countries. The slow-paced life of European cities has become a shelter for people who have survived the devastating experience of war.
