The project about the artisanal Mezcal producers of Oaxaca is an ongoing project, started at the end of 2021. Motivated by the need to understand how ancestral traditions can survive in a moderate society, it moves through the stories of the mezcal masters who have been handing down the recipes for this magical drink of the gods by word of mouth for generations. It is a documentation of customs and traditions in which the drink is involved.
