Garden of the Three

In the Valley of Springs in Israel, there are three thin streams of water that tens of thousands of people flock to every summer. "The Triangle", a popular bathing spot, is a small point where these streams intersect before separating again, never to meet. Much like the people who come to bath in the river.

Over the past two years, the polarization between the three main social groups in Israel has deepened.

Haredim, Palestinians and secular Jews share the water at the same time. Each group of youth takes up a small section of the riverbank sitting closely to one another in a limited space. Beyond the river, the division remains.

The photos were taken during the hottest days of the summer and the most painful days of the war.
