Ilvy Njiokiktjien

lvy Njiokiktjien is a Dutch photojournalist, filmmaker, and educator based in Utrecht, Netherlands. Represented by VII Photo and a Canon Ambassador, she has been documenting social and political issues globally for nearly two decades. Her notable projects include *Born Free – Mandela’s Generation of Hope*, chronicling South Africa's post-apartheid generation, and work on Ukraine’s LGBTQ community. Njiokiktjien is known for innovative storytelling, combining photography with film, making interactive longreads, and podcasts. She has received numerous accolades, including several awards at World Press Photo and POYi. Her work has been featured in major publications.
